Hello.
Recently I've been trying to connect to SP through PBI desktop and I have been failing to connect. I suspect the issue started when, as I was refreshing the dataset, the internet connection dropped and reconnected.
Sharepoint error
I have already installed the latest version (May '22) of PBI and cleared my credentials (global & local) yet I am still receiving the same error.
Please help.

Hi @Anonymous ,
Try to add the cipher suites i mentioned. then it will work.
As stated in an above link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/administration/authentication-errors-tls12-...
Sharepoint has moved to tls1.2
For TLS 1.2, the following cipher suites are supported by Azure Front Door:
these cypher suites are probably not in use on your server where the gateway is installed.
at least our server didn't have those.
Added these cypersuites rebooted the gateway server.
And a way to bypass this situation, to build dataflows for Sharepoint sources, then using them to feed our models so that merges don't fails.

Hey, Do you try to connect to a sharepoint list or a file stored in SP. For SP connections, there are 3 connections avaliable in pbi desktop, if you want to connect to SP list, i recommend you to use Sharepoint online connection. If you connect to a file stored in SP, i would like to you web connection. Hope it is helpful!
