SharePoint list imported data issues in PowerBI

Hi Guys!

I'm trying to import a SharePoint list in PowerBI but I'm getting a hyperlinked data. See screenshot below:

Note: The data in the Sharepoint List is indeed a hyperlinked name. Is there any way that PowerBI only adds the name instead of it having "List" as an entry.

I also have a problem with the data imported in PowerBI. Is there any way that it reads the exact text which is in the Sharepoint List? See screenshot below:

I hope you guys can help me out! Thanks! 🙂

What do you get when you expand the list using the diverging arrows in the column header?

Hey Greg,

I clicked on it and chose "Expand to New Rows"

It did extract what was inside the hyperlinked "List"

However, it turned out to be just numbers. See below:

I checked the SharePoint list and those numbers extracted were the numbers hyperlinked.

However, I wanted it to be the name that is reflected in the SharePoint list instead of a number.

Hope you can help. 🙂

What about RequestorStringID ? That sounds like a string...?

It has the same values as the as RequestorID

Hi @Anonymous ,

Have you marked aggregation when you expand the list?Whether RequestorID links to another data source?

Best Regards,
Kelly

How do I mark aggregation?

As I have observed, the name in the list is hyperlinked that goes to a different page that shows the Profile of that person.
