Hi All!
Can SharePoint lists be the only option as a data source from SharePoint? I have been trying to use documents I have uploaded to my companies' SharePoint (via teams), but based on my progress and solutions I have found here, the only option is to use lists.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

This is all done in the Query Editor.
Use SharePoint folder under "New Source".
After you put the URL in then if you click Edit you can navigate to the specific file.
Click the Binary link under Content.

I've managed to use Web and then supply the URL to a spreadsheet as input, although I'm now having problems refreshing my Online reports, but I think that's something to do with site access problems.
