Hello,
Prior to today, I haven't had a problem using a restricted link generated from my SharePoint Group site to connect my Excel Workbook database to PowerBI.
Though today, all my data sources that were connecting fine prior to today are now failing to connect.
For some reason, PowerBI is adding an extra few parts to the URL I am providing that may be preventing the connection.
I've included a screenshot below! Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Josh
Hi @Anonymous,
Did you make any modification on your SharePoint datasorce?
This issuse can be caused by that you account do not have sufficient permission. Or your password is expired. Create a new dataset and check if you can connect to it or not.

Charlie Liao
