SharePoint Images sometimes showing up and sometimes not..

Hey folks,

Has anyone had any experience connecting their Power BI Report to a folder full of JPG files? I'm using them to dynamically change the picture based on slicer selection. It's acting very sketchy sometimes. When I publish to Power BI, then test it out, it's completely fine. But when I close it out, try again to take a look at it in like a half hour, its no longer showing up.

Any experience here?

According to your description, the connection to the image in sharepoint should be through url, then the above reason may be due to network problems, such as your local computer is offline.

Make sure that the network condition is stable and try again. If you still have problems, please provide detailed process screenshots, and I will answer you as soon as possible.

Depending on how big the images are you can actually try something else.  In Power Query, ingest the images as binary data and then use that in your Power BI visuals. That way you can be sure the image is not eaten by a cache monster.

Can you please elaborate on this? I originally pulled in the SharePoint images/locations via Power Query. Is there any link you can send me to get me started on this? I'm not sure how to ingest images as binary data..
