There doesn't appear to be a way to turn off the new Sticky Scroll in DAX Query View. If you right-click within the sticky scroll area you either get the option to "Toggle Editor Sticky Scroll" or  untick Sticky Scroll. Neither does anything and you are stuck with sticky scroll.

Hi,

I like DAX query view, especially what it unlocks as additional developer capabilities. Best example seen up to now is from John Kesrki in how to use it for testing.

Hello @DataZoe  ☺

I have the following feedback to make the DAX view even better:

currently I can right click/Quick Queries/[all the options here]

  • either for single Measure
  • or for all measures by right clicking "Measures"

I would like to be able to right click/Quick Queries on selected measures only.
it is already possible select multiple measures by Shift+Click, only the quick queries for DAX view is not supported for custom multiple items selection:

Would be better if copilot was available for PRO user or atleast PPU. Small companies or individuals can't have access to it. 🙂

Hi @Gabry ,

Thanks for this feedback! Unfortunately as a feature PM I do not get to decide these things. That said, one of the cooler things about the Fabric capacities is you can pause/resume them, and they do not charge while paused. I have an individual tenant where I host my Power BI reports for my portfolio and that is what I do when I am working with the Copilot features. This can give you some flexibility to try out these features.

I hope that helps!

Thank you for getting back to me. Can you confirm if the Copilot feature can still be utilized even when the subscription is paused?

The main concern is that the cost of an f64 or higher subscription is quite prohibitive for a small firm.

@Gabry When the capacity is paused, then the Copilot features would no longer be available. You will have to have it turned on to use Copilot features.
