Shape map - no way to customize colors?

I've been trying to wrap my head around this for the last hour but there doesn't seem to be a way to customize the colors of the (preview) shape map? There is also no way for me to set conditional formatting. Currently on the Feb 2022 version of PBI.

Is there any other shape map visual I can use that has more customization options?

It seems there is no such function, you can change the color of map manually

Also, you can go to this link and create an idea, others who need this function can submit to it, Ideas (powerbi.com)

@olimilo , You can uncheck the option of the new format pane under preview features and roll back for sometime and check

Thanks @amitchandak . I ended up downgrading to the Dec 2021 version instead. I'll check again at a later time if they've fixed the new format pane.
