Setup auto refresh data connection to network hosted Access DB

I have an existing Access DB hosted on another machine on my enterprise network. I would like to connect to it in such a way that I am able to schedule systematic refreshes once it is published. I have the IP address of the machine available. Please can you advise how to do this, preferably without any migration as the db is an integral part of the existing infrastructure.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Did you install any Gateway to refresh the data?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Automatic refresh is not available within Power BI Desktop and the only refresh option within Power BI Desktop is the Manual Refresh you can find in the top ribbon. You can refer to this article: Data refresh in Power BI.

And if you require automatic refresh of your data, publish the report to Power BI Service and configure scheduled refresh.

Best Regards,
Icey

Maybe I wasn't clear enough initially, sorry. I am looking for a way to configure the Scheduled Refresh, given that my data source is an Access db hosted on a local network machine. Currently when I go into Settings, Data Source Credentials is greyed out, and so is the contents of the Scheduled Refresh section.
