Hello,
I have a visual table which is drawing data from power query. Within power query, I have line calling Table.Sort at the end of the query, to specify the sort order. In my specific case, I'm sorting first by employee, and then by date.
Within power query, the data is properly sorted. However, when I add the relevant columns to my table, the sort order is not retained. Instead, it defaults to sorting by the first column.
How can I retain the sort order from power query within the table?

Hi,
In the Table/Matrix visual, click on the Employee column, press the Shift key and then click on the Date column.

Hi,
Slight comment on this solution - it works for Table but NOT for the Matrix. For Matrix it seems that there is not out-of-the-box solution?

Gregor
