Setting default date format

Hi,

I was wondering is there a way to set default date or number format in Power BI? Especially this is relevant to date format where you have two pages of date formats of all kinds and it takes time to scroll to the required one each time.

In Power BI Desktop, there is no option to set default format for each data type, an idea about this issue has been submitted in the following link, please vote it up.

Currently, you still need to navigate selecting date columns from tables in th Field panel on the right hand side and change date format.

Can't this be done somehow through customized themes?

@gvg,

We are not able  to set default date format via report theme.
