I am trying to set a specific day in my date column. I created a custom column based off of a date column called "First Detected" where I want to add one month and then set the day of the date to always be the 3rd of the month. I was able to easily figure out how to set the month with the following formula
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom", "Reported", each Date.AddMonths([First Detected],1))
but cannot figure out how to always set the day to be the 3rd of the month. Any help is appreciated.

@Anonymous , Try like this
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom", "Reported", each Date.AddDays(Date.EndOfMonth(Date.AddMonths([First Detected],-1)),3))
