Set the date of the upload

Hello guys,

I hope you are doing well.

I need to upload a file that has no date in it. However, I'd like to set up a columm with the month name I had upload it because I need to create a historical monthly behavior.

I Tried this code for exemple: = Date.MonthName(DateTime.LocalNow())

But everytime I need to refresh it, the PBI is gonna update the values (Month Name), and I need that it keeps the month that the file was uploaded. 

I have to mention that I'm gonna refresh using the folder way, wich means that every month I'll put a new file in it.

Could you help me with that?

@felipe_pinto well you can use folder connector and give the location of the files, and click  load, it will have files created columns, expand your file contents and keep the required column including created date and that will do it.

@felipe_pinto maybe you use the folder as a source and use file created date as your date.

@parry2k That's a good idea, thank you. Could you help me how to get the created date and put it in the file?
