Sending Teams Alert After Power BI Dataset Refresh using Power Automate

Dear Community,

I hope you are well. I am currently working on a project that requires automating alerts after the completion of a dataset refresh in Power BI. After extensive research, I have been unable to find a direct solution to this need.

I would like to request the community's help and guidance on how I can set up an integration or workflow in Power Automate (or any other tool) to automatically identify when a dataset is refreshed in Power BI and send an alert or notification.

Here is a summary of what I am looking for:

1. Identify when a dataset is refreshed in Power BI.

2. Automatically trigger an alert or notification after successful completion of the refresh.

3. Preferably, use Power Automate to configure this workflow.

I appreciate any guidance, solution suggestions, or resources that can help me solve this problem. Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Hi @gabrielfsouza1  The alert logic remains unchanged: a card with a refresh timestamp triggers the alert upon timestamp change, which is tied to the last refresh. The sending flow operates accordingly.

For a tutorial on setting up the flow, refer to :

Thank you for sharing the tutorial. However, from what I could gather from the video, it demonstrates how to set up alerts directly in Power BI, whereas I am seeking a solution that utilizes Power Automate to send alerts via Teams after the refresh of a dataset in Power BI.
