Semantic Models and Parameters

Hi there,

Does anybody know if its possible to use a semantic model (Dataset) along with parameters?

I have an exported template that opens with a parameter, but I wanted to carry the parameter across with a dataset.

Thanks

Liam

Hi @lherbert501
Take a look at the linked blog post.

It seems that it can help:

Hi @Ritaf1983 ,

Thanks, it doesn't look like it mentions semantic models though which seems to be the limitation.

I can export my query parameter to a template no problem and this works well. If I change this to point to a semantic model (Dataset) and export this then the query parameter doesn't display on the PBIT.

Thanks
