Hi , 

 I have Golden Data Model with dimension tables and  3 fact tables sales purchases and inventory. Can i create new 'downgraded' data model from existing Golden Dataset with all same dimension tables but only one Sales fact table. The purpose to have connected data models , when changes on Golden dataset reflects to downgraded model .

Yes, you can change the connection to Direct Query and then you can selectively remove tables, and can even modify the joins.
