Selecting scenario to compare against

Dear all,

I am relatively new to PowerBI and am looking for some help to visualise my reports a bit better. I am trying to make an dashboard, that changes when making a selection on scenario; budget, forecast 1, forecast 2, forecast 3 and forecast 4.

My matrix is built per department in Rows, and in columns I need the following details: Actuals, Scenario and delta between the two. As the amount of forecasts might drastically increase, it is really difficult for me to get it in one dashboard.

I was thus wondering if it was possible to create a measure called scenario, that takes my data based on a selection (budget, forecast 1 etc), which make the analysis for the end users a lot easier. Could you maybe help me further in my search?

Kindly see also the following picture, where it currently says QRF APR, it should become dynamic to say e.g. Budget, Forecast May.

You can create a table and store the values Actual, Target, Forecast, and so on and assign it to a slicer for the user to select, create a measure to get the selected value from the slicer, and show the value.
