Selected value in line chart should be displayed in Slicer

I created a line chart showing AC sales, fridge, washing machine, and oven sales, with the number of items sold. I have a slicer that contains sales items (AC, fridge, washing machine, oven). Now I want to display values selected in the line chart, which should be displayed in Slicer. If the select AC in the line chart, the slicer shows a change to AC automatically.

Could anyone please provide a solution without using the bookmark? Please confirm whether this is possible or not

As per testing, what you want to do is not achievable. Selecting a point a dot in a line chart selects dots in that specific point of x-axis. Also,  selecting a specific category legend crossfilters the other visuals but not a slicer.

In the screenshot below, Homegoods is selected but the slicer still is showing all category values even if the visual interaction has been changed to filter.
