Seeking Advice on Chart.viz/Library for PBI in Commercial Embedded Use Cases

We’re currently reviewing an opportunity to have fully coded/develop custom visuals new visuals for a dashboard that’s part of an analytical solution we’re selling to external clients. We’ve discovered some critical details that could impact the development of these reports (manual, code-based approach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQB-q9SVyY4 ).
I’m reaching out to ask for your expertise on a couple of points:

1. Is it possible to use this approach for commercial embedded use cases? We’re aiming to sell these templates/industry solutions to other clients.
2. I’ve noticed in the past that creating visuals from scratch required additional organizational approval. Does this mean our clients will need to follow the same procedure? And what happens if a client doesn’t have such a procedure in place?

This approach is commonly used by independent software vendors (ISVs) to provide analytics capabilities within their products.

Regarding the need for organizational approval when creating visuals from scratch, this typically depends on the governance policies of the organization. If your organization requires approval for creating custom visuals, your clients might need to follow a similar procedure if they have similar governance policies in place.
