Search on Slicer not working for Direct Query but works for Import

Hi,

I created Power bi report using Direct query against Oracle db, Search function using Slicer doesn't work (in desktop and service, it would buffer for about 3 seconds and values will be unchanged on the slicer).  When I changed to Import mode, Search function works.  It does this for all columns.   I can see this happening if it was searching for millions of rows, but I am only bringing back less than 4K records.  Any ideas why it won't work on Direct query mode?

thanks

Thanks @amitchandak ,

I forgot to mention that I am using Oracle View to connect via Direct Query and the search is not working on all columns so can't create index.  Assuming its a bug, will probably end up converting view to a table.  Thanks for your help.

@Anonymous , Make sure there is an index on the column you are queying.

Check if fetch size can help in direct query
