Search filter on text column

I have a text column with people's names which I need to filter. The problem is it allows me to filter the names only if I enter them in the right order: name + middle name + last name and so on. I need to find people but usually I don't have the middle name which doesn't allow me to find/filter them. I'm using a visual called "text filter" that I imported from the app source.
