Scheduled Refresh greyed out - no option to alter dataset settings

Hi,

I have a PowerBI dataset that I refresh every morning. It pulls data via import from a SQL Server. Is there a way to schedule refresh? It gives me no option.

All the solutions online say to go to dataset settings. I do not find that option anywhere. 

I am the owner of the report. 

I also created a new Data Gateway, but don't know if that will help fix the problem. I do not know if it is linked to the workspace either.

How can I fix this?

Not sure if you configure gateway successfully.

Please refer this about how to manage gateway and add a gateway data source.

Please follow these steps to configure the gateway and check.

Hey, @selimovd , thanks for your response.

I try to do so, but this is what comes up:

The "PowerBI Retail" gateway is the one I created. I never created a personal gateway, but it only gives me the option to add that one.

Hey @APM ,

if the data source is on premises, then configure the gateway first and add it as gateway connection.

Afterwards you will be able to edit source credentials and then also to schedule refresh.
