I am trying to show with a scatter chart sensors readings ina facility. All the data is in SQL Server, in one table with fields DateTime, SensorName, SensorReading. Using a data type changeon DateTime to decimal number, I am able to show the data correctly, but I am loosing the info about date and time on the X axis. Any idea how to show this info correctly?
Hi @jasanchezf ,
It's hard to reproduce the scenario without any sample data.
What's the expected result, kind of like below?
can you show some sample data to us?
Best Regards,
Jay
Here is an example, showing two variables. On the X axis I am not able to show the DateTime. Just the number format, to include the sensor data with the proportional gap for the time frame with no data.
@jasanchezf why you want a scatter chart? Are you looking at the correlation of two measures?

I need to show on the chart, X axis time and Y axis sensors read. Not all sensors have the readings at the same timing, and only changes in the reading are stored, so gaps needs to be shown as blank, and as far as I found on excel and PBI only this chart is able to do that
