Saving and displaying user input in a report

Hi,

I have had a recent requirement to include some user input in a published Power BI report.  I want to be able to allow a user to mark a report as "verified", which is then clearly identifiable to other users.

From what I understand, this is not currently available as a feature.  Without going to an external system, or form, does anyone know if this is possible?

Alternatively, is it possible to incorporate comments in a report output?

Thanks

That looks like it might be an option.  I'll check it out.

I don't know if that is available through the Power BI REST API.  But you could store comments in a SharePoint List for example, and then bring those comments in as a source and show them in a card, table, etc.

Thanks for replying again.  I am assuming you mean via a PowerApp form as opposed to the native Power BI comments?

You could use the comments feature of published reports.

Add comments to dashboards and reports - Power BI | Microsoft Docs

Otherwise, you could do it with PowerApps and the PowerApps visual on your report.

Thanks for the response.  I had considered using comments, but I just wanted to make it a bit more obvious to subsequent users that the report had been "verified".  Is there anyway to hook into the comments as a data source?

Thanks
