Save url

Iam building a custom visual extension in PowerBI to acces a restful services and get the data and show in the report. Iam able to do that however unable to store the restful services API and AuthKey as part of the project. So everytime I reopen, I have to manually configure the URL.

Is there any way I can store this configuration and load automatically when I reopen the project so I don’t have to manually keyin. I have tried writing to a file, reading a file via typescript but that doesn’t seem to work.

Any Ideas ?

Appreciated.

Iam developing a custom visual extension that will consumer a restful services.

Even though Iam able to call and retrieve the data back and forth, Iam unable to save the URL and part of the PowerBI project and have to manually specify the URL and auth key every time I reopen the PowerBI project.

I also don’t see the ability to write a config file that could be used to save this config.

Any thoughts? Appreciated.
