Same variable measure difference

Hi everyone, I will like to present you this case. I have a variable in one Column, for example, Sales. I need to create a new measure where what I need is the difference between the month of the present year and the month of the past year. If someone know how to do it, I will appreacite it.
Best Regards.

It's hard to give a clear example based on the little details you're providing, but you should be able to do this a few ways.

You could create a measure for "LastYearMonthlySales" that uses the SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR DAX function in its definition.  Take a look at https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee634972.aspx for examples.
