Hello,
is it possible to keep the same sorting in Power BI like in csv or Excel Files?
when i try to create a line chart the sorting on the x-axis is different to csv or excel file.
This is my x-axis. For example the 2:00:00.0000 has to be after 0.000 like in the following table
Can someone help me?
Greetings
Fryyy
You can firstly add an index column for your table in Query Editor of Power BI Desktop. Then click your column in the Field Pane, then select Index after clicking “Sort By Column” under Modeling ribbon, there is an example for your reference.
Regards,
Create a calculated column where you strip out the colons and make sure that this is set to be a Whole Number column. Then, set your sort by for your existing column to be this new column.
The colons are needed because this column is like a timeline and they seperate the seconds, minutes, hours and days . And i cant set this column to a Time-Column, because it only counts the seconds, minutes and hours.
Is there another possibility to fix my problem??
