SUM using Multi-Value Slicer gives more than one row

Capture.PNG

Hi All,

I have Matrix report, where there is NetPremium on row along with RiskReference.

There is a Slicer (Internal Reference), one RiskReference can have multiple Internal References.

So, in this example, the RiskRefrence has 2 Internal Reference (marked in BLUE blox)

Now I have a Matrix report.

I am getting individual NetPremium for each selection, in case of multiple-values are selected from a SLICER.

But, I am looking for only ONE row which should SUM the amount when multiple values are selected from SLICER.

When I use Table visual, marked in RED box, then it appears perfect, but NOT in case of Matrix.

Actual data is in BLACK box.

Can someone help me, please?

I used following calc:

_NetPremium = CALCULATE(SUM('Risk Premium Month'[NetPremium]),
        FILTER(
                'Risk Premium Month',
                'Risk Premium Month'[RiskReference] = SELECTEDVALUE('Risk Group'[RiskReference])
        )
        --,FILTER('Risk Premium Month', 'Risk Premium Month'[InternalReference] IN VALUES('Risk Group'[InternalReference]))
    ) + 0

 Ritesh

@riteshgaur,

Make sure you haven't dragged [InternalReference] to Rows.

Thanks Sam.

I haven't dragged Internal Ref on rows and thats puzzled me as why it creates group when it is not part of rows.

I think, the way Table and Matrix works are different in this case.

Am still not able to find the solution.
