SSRS tablix vs Power BI matrix

Hi!

I need a PBI table/matrix that most resembles a SSRS tablix-report. Basic PBI matrix is not flexible enough. There are lots of visuals in AppSource -> could I have some recommendations from suitable visuals you have used and find it to be good choice compared to SSRS tablix?

Hi @tuulia ,

It seems that using paginated reports is the best option, but if you are concerned about cost, you may consider using a PPU license. Paginated report also is available on a per-user basis with Premium per user, which is built on Premium Gen2 and also in public preview.

Unlike Power BI Premium, which is billed on a per-capacity basis, Power BI Premium Per User will cost $20 per user per month for a license. For users who already have a standalone Power BI Pro license or a Microsoft 365 E5 license, there will be an additional $10 per user per month.

It’s important to keep in mind that the workspace you are publishing the Paginated report to, must be defined as a Premium workspace.

For more information, you can refer to:Power BI Premium Per User

Hope it helps,

@tuulia , I think you can have that in the paginated report and add that as visual in power bi. But that can work with Power bi Premium

Power BI premium is not an option (too expensive)..
