Hiii
while connecting to the Analysis services from power bi, I am getting an error.
but Cube is getting accessed from EXCEL using the same credentials which i am using in power bi
Is any changes to be made in the server so that cube gets accessed from the power bi??
Thank you
Hi @sarjensystems1 ,
How do you connect to the remote SSAS server from Power BI Desktop? Via “import” option or “Connect Live” option?Have you tried typing in the Database (cube) name? The field shows as optional, but I have one instance where, if I leave it blank, it won't find any cubes, but if I fill it in, it works just fine.
If you still can not connect to, please try the way below.
In Power BI Desktop, go to File -> Options and Settings -> Data Source Settings -> Global permissions-> find your SSAS data source->Clear permissions, then connect to SSAS using live option and check if it is successful.
Best Regards,
Xue Ding
