SSAS Best Practice to Update Dataset's TimeFrame

Hello,

 

Using a cube to write a sales report.  If I load two years of data, 2017 and 2018, at year end what is the best way to drop 2017 and add 2019?   I have tried editing the MDX in advanced query editor but it doesn't update the way I expect it to.   

 

Is there a best practice for this?   Once the initial report is created and other dates filtered out, there does not appear to be a good way to bring in fresh data.

You can import the three years data and then delete rows in 2017. About how to delete rows in specific condition, I would suggest you refer to answer in link below:
