Hi,
I am trying to create a dataset for PowerBI based out of the response of an API.
The API returns a JSON which I can load into a dataset. However, the dataset created out of this does not provide a "Refresh" option. The "Refresh" is available for datasets that I create out of SQL etc.
1. Can anyone tell me hwo I can schedule a refresh for a dataset that has been populated via a call to an API?
2. Second, if I have a hyperlink which is a call to an API endpoint, is there any way in which I can use the Response JSON as a PowerBI dataset dynamically?
Thanks in advance !

Hi @damanpradhan ,
In this scenario, we can create a custom data connector to connect to the data source, then use this connector in Gateway. For more information, please refer to this document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-custom-connectors

Any chance that this could be related to Gateways?
Anyone???
