Hi- I am currently unable to access our SAP BI data lake and must download files instead. These files download as .XLS but are actually .MHTML files. As a result, it appears that I need to manually open, cleanse, and then resave the file as an .XLSX before I can open them in PowerBI. When I try to load them as either an excel file or a webpage without performing this cleansing process, it produces an error. I was wondering if I was wondering if I was missing something... is there an easier way to load this data into PowerBI?

Hi 10119166,
I think you need to edit the data, bacause there might be something unsupported in Excel or web page when you connect to SAP download file.
Or you could try to connect this by SAP BW Connector when you could access to SAP datasource.
Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi
