Running Total Basic Issue

Ok, this should be simple, but I'm an amateur ... I created a quick measure running total where it should do a distinct count of the Username, and then caclulate the running total of that count over the UserCreatedDate1 field.  Should be compounding the running total over each month, instead i'm getting the full total 5517 repeated.  Formula doesn't seem to take into account the month.  Please help, thanks!

Figured it out ....

running total measure = CALCULATE(DISTINCTCOUNT(PBI_User_Region[Username]),
FILTER(ALL(PBI_User_Region),
PBI_User_Region[UserCreatedDate1] <= MAX(PBI_User_Region[UserCreatedDate1])
))
