Run Query Button

Hi All,

Im hoping to set up a run query button. I have a report which passes multiple parameters into a SQL query in direct query mode. My report has multiple filters such as date, user, etc. and I would like an end user to be able to set all the parameters first and then run the query using a button or an alternative idea. Currently it would run each time a user changes each parameter which is not ideal

If anyone has any ideas, it would be much appreciated.

@kdbuser , You can have concepts like parameter page. I discussed this in these two videos. Using Slicer sync and page navigation

Need Traditional Parameter Page: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3qMwQtWjvo&list=PLPaNVDMhUXGYo50Ajmr4SgSV9HIQLxc8L&index=15

New means to access display pages - Display only one page in the report, Hide the rest: https://youtu.be/d4H0GKUH0r4
