Hello
I have created a POWER BI file which displays seeming correct or believable category summation values data when viewed on the desktop version. However when saved and published onto the web, one of the values in a table has been altered when viewed via the web a few minutes later. No other data row value is changed.
This can be rectified when the report is re published and the data in the row then displays as in the Desktop version. However, when I navigate away then navigate back to the web link, the row value has been altered again.
This also happens when the file is left to refresh via a set schedule the next day.
Whenever the data is refreshed in the Desktop version the row values displays as expected and isn't affected.
I have resaved the Power Bi report with a different name but this issue is still present.
It seems strange that it is just one row value that is affected.
I have looked at the dataset and there doesn't seem to be a reason why the row values shouldn't sum as expected, nor why there appears to be a partial summation on this one category.
Is there anything that I could look to solve this?
I have noticed that the web service PowerBI report filter panel displays four choices [Blank, 0, -1, False] whilst the POWER BI Desktop visual displays three choices. The field should only have three choices [True, False or Blank]
Hi @NeilPears ,
According to your description, it seems that QFM can't return the same results in Power BI Desktop and Service. And as you checked, it may be caused by the filter options. There is one more option(Blank) in Service. Am I right?
Could you please provide some raw data about QFM (exclude sensitive data) with Text format and filter settings? It would be helpful to find out the solution. You can refer the following link to share the required info:
How to provide sample data in the Power BI Forum
And It is better if you can share a simplified pbix file. You can refer the following link to upload the file to the community. Thank you.

The datasource connection is to a Sharepoint list
The Changed row is a summation value of a range of numberic values
The rows inthe table are summation of a range of numeric values
The row in question is the only one that will be directly affected by a filter on the visual which is a selection of two of three values that a checkbox fierld can be within the SharePoint List dataset
Hi @NeilPears ,
Could you please provide the following info for the further investigation?
Best Regards
