Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI Desktop in only PRO ?

Question

Hi all,&nbsp;I have updated the Desktop to the final update as July. I want to use the RLS for my SQL server directquery connection.&nbsp;I have updated my pbix file to the latest Desktop version and create the roles in Desktop, and finally published it to the Powerbi service.&nbsp;I do not use PRO service version. , so when I try to display the report. I got error message that PRO subcrsiption is needed.&nbsp;But in previous version, I could use the RLS in site, when I republish the report, recreating the roles was required.&nbsp;so Can I use the RLS support in Desktop without PRO subscirption in any way?&nbsp;Thank you, all comments&nbsp;are appreciated.

Based on my test, to use RLS feature in Power BI Service, we need Power BI Pro license currently. For this issue, I already reported it internally, will keep you updated if I get any feedback.
