Row Level Security
Hello All,
Please provide suggestions on the following RLS question– we have been trying for a while – but not able to solve.
We have a User table and a Department table.
User table has columns - User Id, User Name, User email, and Department Id.
The Department table has columns - Department Id, Department Name, and Department Manager.
The two tables are connected on Department Id.
With RLS, I can limit department information by user –> In Manage roles - on user table – User email = userprincipalname()
Some users have ALL in the Department Id column rather than the Id of the department – which means they should be able to see information on all the departments.
How do we code this in Row Level Security i.e., Manage Roles.
Many Thanks!!
