Row Level Security - Error

Hello,

I'm trying to implement basic security based on E-mail address in SE lookup table - UserName field.

With [UserName] = USERPRINCIPALNAME().

The filter is not working. When I tried to implement security filters in both directions, I get error on introducing constants.

I also have May 2021 desktop version.

appreciate any help here.Version.jpgSecurity Filter.jpgData Model .jpg

Hi @vigneshahob ,

Whether your problem has been resolved? If still not, could you please try to update the version of your Power BI Desktop to the latest one and check whether you can get it work. As it works when I test in my side(Power BI Desktop Version: 2.94.921.0 64-bit (June 2021)). Otherwise, could you please mark the helpful post as Answered if it has been resolved? It will help the others in the community find the solution easily if they face the same problem with you. Thank you. yingyinr_0-1625825243646.png

@vigneshahob , even if does not apply bi-directional it should work, filtering the data for your dimension. Is that not working?
