Row Counts in context of the groups on X axis

We have a table with Dates and values

Create a bar graph, and set the X axis to the date, grouped by week (just a group of 7 days)

Power Bi knows how many data points occur in that group automagically

I would like a measure which also knows the rowcount within the groups specified for the X axis. But this seems to be Rocket Science according to what I have found.

Can someone explain how to do this in small words for me please?
