Hey experts,
the simple question is: Is in power bi a possibility to implement a route planner, without import all distances?
Like you know from google maps or Bing you can search for your route and get the results of the distance, duration, etc.
Now it would be great if I can import addresses from another source, take the start and end point, click on the addresses on the map (the visual) , which I would like to visit on the road and get back the results directly in power bi.
I know there are different offers for professional route planners, but the question is, is there a possibility to implement this in power bi? (If it is easier to understand: think of a sales team, who needs to differ between different routes)
Thanks a lot.
Hi @Do5779 ,
I know of a custom view that does this, and it is routemap, you can refer to.
Power BI Custom Visuals - Route Map (pragmaticworks.com)

@v-chenwuz-msft thanks for your advice. I have already seen the route mapping, but in this case I need all the positions of the route of e. g. the vehicle to plot its way.
But my plan is to get the route and the positions by clicking on the visual. So it is the other way around 😥. And is it not possible to create all the different routes to every destination in advance.
Pleas correct me if I am wrong.
