Route map/progress tracker

Hi all,

I'm relatively new to Power BI but trying to pick it up as quickly as possible so any help would be appreciated! I'm looking to use Route Map to plot a "live" tracker between our 2 offices based in the UK and Asia.

We're going to ask users to submit their distance they've exercised into a sharepoint list. I'm hoping to calculate the sum of the values and then plot it against the map to show the distance covered. However I'm not sure if I can do this using co-ordinates referenced in the route map example.

If there's any other suggested way to try and achieve this it would be appreciated!

I'd like to create something similar to what My Virtual Mission does (test - My Virtual Mission

Thanks, Louie

In order to use map visual and calculate the distance, you need Lat and Long coordinates. What you can try is to connect power bi with the sharepoint list including Lat and Long, then use some math calculation mentioned in this post: Solved: Distance Calculation in Power BI - Microsoft Power BI Community

I doubt it is a feasible idea to use Power bi. And as far as I know, there is no such map visual can reproduce something similar to the provided example.
