I'm looking to create a simple error log for the users of my power query spreadsheet. I'm looking to following the methodology found in this post viewing-error-messages-for-all-rows-in-power-query. However, this method uses the Try function on a column.
My errors are spread out across multiple columns. I tried to unpivot columns but I can't because of the errors I'm getting.
I could also iterate over every single cell like this Desktop/Iterate-over-each-cell-in-a-table, but I'm unsure of how to integrate these two together. Looking at power query's current error query, there is a Table.SelectRowsWithErrors function but not one that works with Columns.
Does anyone know how to pull a list of records, and the columns which have errors, along with an error message?
@Anonymous,
Try using Table.
