Hi everyone,
I'm encountering a "Resources Exceeded" error in one of my Power BI reports. The issue happens when loading a matrix visual that includes multiple hierarchical levels (Level2 through Level6) along with a measure that calculates values using a DAX expression.
Some context:
Visual uses a matrix with fields: Particulars, Level2, Level3, Level4, Level5, and Level6 in rows.
Two measures are in the values section: Amount and Particular Amt Previous....
A filter is applied: Particulars is not blank.
Slicers are used for Organization and Period.
Data model contains large volumes of data from a financial dataset.
I've tried limiting slicers, but the issue persists. The goal is to preserve the drill-down levels but improve performance or avoid this resource cap.
Any suggestions on optimizing the measure or model structure to reduce resource usage would be highly appreciated.

@Anonymous Hey,

Generally, whatever works is a good approach over that which does not work. Would really have to know more to say for sure 100% either way. You may be able to find another way by optimizing your DirectQuery queries but, again, hard to say.
Thanks
