I get the following error message when trying to access my reports: Requested registry access is not allowed
I am having the same error since last week... don´t think this is related to my companies security, as i know other users that are not presenting this error... 😞
Already reinstalled it couple times, runned as admin as well... any other ideas for us to try to solve this one?
thanks!
@Anonymous , check are you able to open power bi, without any report.
If not then try to reinstall it, also make sure not windows patch is pending.
thank you. I reinstalled but I am still getting the registry access error message
Hi @Anonymous ,
Have you tried to run Desktop as an administrator? Have you been able to open it normally before?
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
