Represent two datasets on a map

Hello,

I am a newbie into PowerBI.

I have a set of data that I want to represent on a map.

DATASET1: Location, Sales per location, Manager
DATASET2: Location, Manager.

I would like to have a map with the DATASET2 as black squares and the DATASET1 as a heatmap depending on the number of sales.

Is it possible in the PowerBI map?

DATASET1

CityCountrySalesPerson
Kyoto Japan1000Tim
Buenos Aires Argentina2000Antonio
Cape Town South Africa1400John
Prague Czech Republic2000Daniel
Reykjavík Iceland3000Benjamin
Seattle USA1000Nicola
Marrakech Morocco3040Wendy
Helsinki Finland3000Wendy
Kuala Lumpur Malaysia2000John
Lisbon Portugal1000John

DATASET2:

CityCountryPerson
PretoriaSouth AfricaTim
SidneyAustraliaAntonio
PortoPortugalJohn
WashingtonUSADaniel
MarrakechMoroccoBenjamin
StockholmSwedenNicola
Buenos AiresArgentinaWendy

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Antonio

Hi @adammaro  - Yes, it's possible to achieve what you're describing in Power BI with maps!

Please find the attached pbix file.

I have used append and combined both dataset to one. now we can report country in map visual

Hope this helps.

Hello @rajendraongole1

thanks for the reply. However, the graph you shared does not exactly do what I asked.

I was looking to have the two dataset represented, and I can only see the DATASET 1:

Whilst I am looking for a solution that shows both sales (bubble) and client manager (black dots)

Thanks,
