I need to create a Report from a Dataverse Table, this table has a Status column (Global Choice Column),
somehow one status (28 Elements have this status seleted) is getting ignored (i found this issue a while ago, and stoped using PowerBI then, today i wanted to give it a try again - now atelast i would see that status in the filter options for Visual,
but if i e.g. filter the visual for just this status i get a blank visual (even though, it would recognie that there are 28 Elements behind)
or if i have e.g. a Pie-Chart, also in this case the one specific status is getting skipped
any idea how to fix this?

Hello @thsteh ,
can you confirm that the power bi is reading the data correctly in the data view, and it's on;y getting affected in the visuals.

rechecked with data Exploration Tool on the created report, all Status are getting loaded in the Preview
I found out that the problem is the combination of filtering..
i have a filter that displays only projects with mor then 5k of Costs on it,
if i remove this filter for the Pie or Tile chart, i get all status displayed.. can select a status in the tile chart, and the waterfall diagram with the filter for 5k cost or more gets filtered in accordance to it..
so, for what ever reason the cost filter has problems with the status filter..
for clarification, there are definetly elemts that are in the filtered project cost range + have a status that is not displayed, when i filter for the cost range..
seems like a huge bug..
hi,
so it seems as all data is loaded - so all filtered rows from Power Query...
but just the Status is not getting imporeted(correlctly - or its reference to the row)
i just realized that several chocies are not loaded, i have 7 Status + empty (only 4 are displayed if i filter for them)
here a example, in the right table, i selected one Project, it has no status selected at the moment,
project costs are displayed correctly, but i would expect, that in the tile chart below, it should be displayed as "empty" cagegory..
but as yo can see. only 4 out of 8 categorys are displayed.
i tryed to increase chart size (cause i read, it could inflict amount of displayed elemnts, without success)
also tryed to specificaly filter the chart for a status that was not displayed --> resulting in a empty visual
