Replace text in query editor

Hi. I would like to cloak out any phone numbers that show up in a text field.

Is there a way to trigger the query editor to do this - for example replace 0412341234 with 04********

Yes add a custom column and use the M language left 2 and then concatenate with “********”

Here is a good walkthrough https://www.myexcelonline.com/blog/replicating-excels-left-function-m-in-power-query/
= Text.Start([phone column], 2)&”*-***-****”
