Replace Values or Create Table with Map Conditional Formatting

Hi,

I have a table where I have a bg_type column, that I was not able to transform upon load from SQL, so I still have the original values, 'R' or 'U'.

R means Rural and U means Urban. This column is one of the tooltip of a map.

What I want is to show the the values to its actual meaning in the tooltip.

Aside from this, in my map element, I want the data color to be based on the bg_type value, e.g. R is red and U is blue.

How can I do this?

Thanks.

Regards,

Realiza

@realiza you can add new custom column to translate your type and use this column in your reports/charts to show full name

if [bg_type] = "R" then "Rural" else "Urban"
