Hello,
I have developped a PBI report with some visualisations using a published PowerBI dataset (published by myself).
I want to replace the source data by a standard powebi/powerquery connecting to underlying SQL database in order to add some data to my report.
However all the data options are greyed out, the only available data parameter is to switch to another PowerBI dataset.
Is there a way to replace the source data for my report? How can I reuse what I did but with direct connection to my data ?

Hi @Anonymous ,
If you are in live connection mode, you cannot change the data source settings through parameters.

Sadly this doesn't apply in my situation. I am using a poweBI dataset as my source. The "transform" query button is greyed and the "Datasource setting" only let me switch it to another published dataset.
I think amitshandak is right; and it is kind of a bummer
