I have a question on the dashboard in powerbi. Is there a way to remove the product classes from summary and chart visuals when you don’t have them included in the filters? Here is an example where I have filtered to Product Manager: Phil Cascia. His classes are populated with data and move to the top of the summary but I still see all the other classes. Can those come out of the visual, so I only see Phil’s product classes?
Same thing on the chart. Can all the other classes be removed so it’s easier to see which colors in the bar chart are which product class?
Hi @Igotzepowerbi ,
You can utilize a combination of slicers and DAX measures to ensure that only the product classes with data associated with the selected Product Manager are displayed.
Have a try please.
Create a measure.
ProductClassValue = CALCULATE(SUM('YourDataTable'[YourValueColumn]), ALL('YourDataTable'[ProductClassColumn]))
Use the DAX measure you created as a filter on your summary and chart visuals. Set the filter to show items when 'ProductClassValue' is greater than 0. This will ensure that only product classes with data are displayed.
If I have misunderstood your meaning,please provide more details with your desired output and pbix file without privacy information (or some sample data) .
Best Regards
